2010 DOVE HUNTS
Veal Station Field (70 acres) - LIMITED HUNTERS - 12 PER DAY - Sunflowers, planted mature milo, dove weed, mojos, decoys, some vegetation mowed
for easier finds, mesquite trees in some areas, two stock tanks and a spring fed creek through the ranch. We have had dove hunts for over twenty five years so we feel that we know what
the birds like. We limit our hunts so there are enough guns to keep birds moving but not to many guns to get in each others way. This property is a 30 minute drive from Fort Worth near
Azle. $75 per hunter or $40 per half day. You are also allowed to shoot quail, chukar or pheasant during dove season, at no extra cost, at this location.
Poolville Field – (88 acres) - LIMITED HUNTERS - 15 PER DAY - Some sunflowers, dove weed, mesquites, stock tank and wheat fields nearby. This
property is a 45 minute drive from Fort Worth. It is located 2 ½ miles west of Poolville. This is a good place to hunt birds during the day and varmints at night and camp. Dove hunts: $60 per
day. No half day leases unless three (3) or more hunters, then it’s $35 per gun. Varmint ( hogs, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, possums, armadillos, squirrels, rabbits, frogs, turtles, and Lord
only knows what else on this property) hunts start at $40 per day per gun if you have paid for a dove hunt or $75 per day if only varmint hunting. We limit our varmint hunts since you can
use rifles, handguns, etc.. These are day (twenty four (24) hour) leases but if you want more than one day we do have rates available. Varmint hunts includes access to wood for outdoor
fires (weather permitting), blinds, feeders, etc. You are invited to bring your tent or camper at no extra charge. Hunters under sixteen (16) with paying parent or guardian are half price.
Bridgeport Field – (150 acres) - LIMITED HUNTERS - 20 PER DAY - Dove weed, sunflowers, mesquites, stock tanks. Five miles southwest of Runaway
Bay near Lake Bridgeport. This is a one hour drive from Ft. Worth and one and a quarter hours from Dallas. $75 per day. We have half day, afternoon (3 PM to dark) hunts, for groups of
three or more hunters. Afternoon hunts are $40 per gun. Lodging available at Harbor Inn at Runaway Bay or other motels in Bridgeport. This is a great place for corporate or large group
outings. Fish on beautiful lake Bridgeport and hunt with us.

These hunts are limited unless a group wants to lease the entire turkey hunting area. (Call for group rates) The hunts start at $100 per person per day and we have weekend hunts from
Friday night (Check in 6PM to 8 PM Friday) to Sunday evening (Check out at 6 PM Sunday) for $250 per gun. This includes overnight stay with night hunting so bring your own camper or
tents. We have feeders and blinds on location. These hunts are reserved on a first come first serve basis. During your hunt you may kill any animals that are in season. We charge by the
hunt not by the animal. Please be sure you are in accordance with the law.

Our goal is to get you a limit of ducks, not a cold wet sunrise. The upcoming 2009 / 2010 season is shaping up to be one of the best in recent history. The wet spring and early summer
provided outstanding nesting habitat and as a result duck numbers have increased. We have over 20 ponds to hunt and each location is rested a minimum of one week between each
hunt. We scout daily so you are sure to be on a hot hole.
Our guides are very experienced, knowledgeable, and easy going. They'll do the calling, set the decoys, and make sure all the hunters are well concealed. As ducks are harvested, the
guides &/or their trained retrievers, will fetch your ducks while you remain cozy in the blind.
This property is west of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex near Weatherford which is in the middle of the Central Flyway. Three creeks originate on the ranch and feed three of the areas
large reservoirs - Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Worth, and Lake Weatherford. Our location is a highway for the birds. On any given hunt, you can expect to get a shot at: Mallards, Pintail,
Widgeon, Gadwall, Green Wing Teal. In addition to the quality puddle ducks that typically fill our straps, shooting a Wood Duck, Canvasback, Redhead, or Hooded Merganser isn't
uncommon.
PRICES: Weekend hunts are $175 per gun. We prefer groups of 4, but we go up to 6 hunters maximum. If you have a group of 6, chances are we will split you up into two groups because
its easier to provide a quality experience to a smaller group and the chances of bagging you a limit improve. On the weekends we don't allow singles, we require a group of at least 2
hunters. Weekday hunts are $150 per gun. We hunt Monday through Friday, and on the weekdays we will take singles, but you may be merged in with other singles. Tips aren't required, but
if your guide puts you on a quality hunt it would be greatly appreciated. Plus, hunters that don't tip don't get to keep their banded pintails! Give us a call today to reserve your dates.

The State of Texas allows "Predator and Varmint Hunters" the ability to hunt from a vehicle. They may also hunt either day & night. There is no closed season for predator hunting. Hunting
licenses are inexpensive and available "over the counter" at Dept. Of Texas Parks and Wildlife, most gun shops, Wal-Marts, etc. Under Texas law, hunters may shoot as many predators
and varmints as they choose per day, but they may only reduce one of each species of "fur-bearer" (raccoon, fox, ring tail cat, badger) into possession per day, unless they have a
Furbearer's License. However, there is no bag limit or possession limit for "non-furbearing animals" (mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes). Bobcats must be "sealed" with a locking "Cites
Tag" before crossing State lines.
GUIDED – PREDATOR & VARMINTS - HOG, COYOTE, etc. HUNTS – 12 months of hunting
We have 600+ acres in the Bridgeport (NW Wise County) area where you can hunt with shotguns, rifles, handguns and bows. We have seen hogs, coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats,
raccoons, opossums, armadillos, squirrels, rabbits, and Lord only knows what else on these properties. Know the seasons and license required. You can bring your own calls to fit your
animals of interest.

night per hunter. Minimum 2 hunters – max. 5 hunters. QUANTITY DISCOUNT: 2 hunters - $175 Ea. – 3 hunters - $165 Ea. – 4 or 5 hunters $155 Ea.

For $15 EXTRA you can add a catch & release fishing adventure. We have perch, catfish and awesome bass (most bass are 2 to 6 lb.) in our stock tanks. Bring your equipment and bait.

| Deer Day Lease – Non Guided - Blinds and Feeders in place M H R DEER HUNTS: This day hunting ranch is for whitetail deer, leased to hunters on a per day basis to hunt on their own without a guide. We have four (4) stands for bows and two (2) for rifles. The ranch is located in North Texas – Parker County – Near Weatherford and Azle only 25 miles west of Fort Worth. These hunts are unguided, so we need to show you the hunting areas before you start hunting. We do all the preparation --- setting up and stocking deer feeders, maintaining the blinds etc. Hunters are welcome to hunt and enjoy the land all day. We do allow tents, small travel trailers or RVs. Hunters can rent a motel room in Azle (within 10 minutes) or in Weatherford (within 20 minutes). LEASE PRICES: Each hunter pays $125 per day in advance for the use of the land. NO KILL FEES. Land is leased on a first pay, first serve basis. |
